Granville F. Hogg, Jr.
Granville Hogg is a life-long resident of Northampton County. Granville, 66, was raised in Bayview and attended Cape Charles and Northampton County Public Schools.
In 1972, after serving in the United States Air Force and graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Mercer County College, he began his Land Surveying career at Shore Engineering Company, Melfa, Virginia. Granville completed the Virginia Land Surveyors Apprenticeship program, several advanced sources in Storm Water Management, Environmental Management, and Water Systems at Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport University and the Eastern Shore Community College.
He currently resides at 3125 Bluff Court, Cape Charles, Virginia 23310 with his wife of 20 years, Gwendolyn Coghill, a retired Northampton County Public School Principal, and their dog, Kippy.
Granville’s various private business interests include: agriculture, aquaculture, residential housing, land development and aviation interests in Northampton County. Granville holds numerous certifications and licenses which include: Land Surveyor, Real Estate Agent, and Commercial Airplane Pilot. Granville recently completed service to the County as an inaugural member of the County’s Public Service Authority and is a past appointee to the Commonwealth of Virginia Land Surveyors Board.
As a life-long resident, local Surveyor, landowner and businessman, Granville Hogg knows Northampton County like few others.
