The Northampton County Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers located at 16404 Courthouse Road in Eastville, Va., for the purpose of conducting public hearings on the following matters.

The Northampton County Sanitary Landfill and the Birdsnest, Bayview, Wardtown, Hare Valley and Cheapside Waste Collection Centers will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of Memorial Day.

The County of Northampton will accept sealed bids for Petroleum Products from registered ultimate vendors for the twelve-month period July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Office of the County Administrator, P. O. Box 66, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia 23347.
