County of Northampton, Virginia

CONSTRUCTION OF NEW FISHING PIER


The County of Northampton, Virginia is accepting sealed bids for the construction of a new fishing pier at the Oyster Harbor located at 21209 Crumb Hill Road, Cape Charles, VA 23310. The pier will be approximately 10 feet wide and 200 feet long. Sealed bids may be submitted either as a physical hard copy or electronically through eVA, the Virginia Department of General Services central electronic procurement website. Faxed or emailed proposals are not acceptable. Bids will be received until 2:30 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. Physical bids received after the assigned time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened.

The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS


Northampton County will receive sealed Proposals for the Hauling and Disposal of Solid Waste generated in Northampton County. Contractors interested in providing these services are requested to submit proposals to the Northampton County Administrator’s Office, P. O. Box 66, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia 23347, on or before 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025.

Northampton County reserves the right to accept and reject in total, or in part, any and all proposals received in the interest of Northampton County.
