Groundbreaking Ceremony for Modernization of Northampton Middle School & High School
Eastville, VA – Northampton County Public Schools is excited to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for the construction and renovation of the new Middle School and High School complex. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 6th, at 10:00 a.m. at Northampton High School located at 16041 Courthouse Road, Eastville, VA 23347.
Parents, students, staff, members of the press, community members, and all interested parties are invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. This event is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to join us in celebrating this “groundbreaking” step forward in advancing education in Northampton County.
Woolpert, Inc., a Virginia Beach-based architectural firm, is leading the design of the school, and M.B. Kahn Construction Company, Inc. has been selected as the general contractor for the project.
The ceremony will feature remarks from community leaders, school division officials, project collaborators, and elected officials. Construction will be taking place over the next 30 months. The current Northampton Middle/High School campus will remain operational during that time. NCPS is proud to have the community's support in achieving this monumental feat. We hope you can join us!
